hi there will buy a new chassis, first of all i thought about the tamiya high lift, but it has to be s'thing different... two possibilities 1. www.bauteil1.com 2. the trail finder by rc4wd the advantages i see at the trail finder: more realistic look links or leaf springs, both possible chassis length allows more different bodies aluminium axles the price! (bauteil is about 1300 bucks) if you don't care about the money, which rig would you buy? thanks 4 ur help

I bought the Trail Finder chassis and it seems to be a very good product. There are a few of them being built here in the 1.9 section. It is not a flawless build but it is fun. I guess I should go brush up on my German but the pics of the other chassis look a little bit like scaleoffroads Jeep XJ chassis. Both look good but I would go with the RC4WD or get a Bruiser chassis. Good luck.

Supra had bad luck with Bauteil1 (Roger Frastzcher). After ordering, nothing was shipped to Supra. Roger has not responded to Supra after 2 years of e-mails and PayPal refund requests. Perhaps USA shipments are a no-go (?). You may have better luck with Bauteil1, being that you are in Switzerland. For this reason, Supra finds RC4wd to be a much better vendor, not to mention the greater array of products available.

hi thanks for your responses! yes, the bauteil chassis is the same as the one from scaleoffroader, you combined corrrect :-) quite astonished about your post suprachrgd, i'm actually mailing with roger. he's quite busy at the moment, but taking the money without delivering the stuff, can't imagine. but it's not my business judging, don't know this case at all think i'm going to order at rc4wd. next question if allowed: what is better? links or leaf springs? i think the stock chassis arrives with the leaf springs, am i right?

[QUOTE next question if allowed: what is better? links or leaf springs? i think the stock chassis arrives with the leaf springs, am i right?[/QUOTE] You can custom order it however you would like so just make sure you put what you want (links or leafs) during the checkout. I would go with the leafs but that is just my preference because this was my first leafed truck I am loving the leafs. But good luck either way and post some pics once you get it.

Hi guys, FIRST: sorry for my bad english! I' m from Germany and I order one bauteil1 kit. Roger Fratzscher produces the kit and sell it to fit the jeep cherokee body. I ordered one bauteil1 kit at january 2008. Delivered (not as promised next 8 weeks) in June 2008 !!! Really 6 months... I' ve payed 75 % deposit. Long, long time. I' m not patient. Bauteil1 and Trial Finder Truck Kit are of the quality very good. But remember the bauteil1 fits only some bodies cause of its short wheel base. In June 2008 I sold the bauteil1 kit on ebay and ordered from RC4WD the Rock Rider Crawler Kit. ...... just waiting........ Package is on the way...... My opinion: better luck (and short delivery time!!!) with the Trial Finder Truck Kit Greetings from Germany J.

hi duddits no problem with your english, mine is bad as hell as well. no native speakers but i understood what you were saying and i thank you a lot for your quite hard but i think honest meaning. aleae iactae sunt, as they used to say in rome, i'll take the rc4wd chassis. concerning leaves or links, i like the leaves more as well, but there is more corners, screws andf other stuff making the chassis stuck on obstacles with the leaves. i think links for trailing, leaves for watching :-) guys, you're great, thanks for your help out there in the whole big world!
