Started work on the other side, just built the layers of styrene up to a rough shape like i did on the other side. Plenty of shaping and sanding ahead! |

Hmm Zap-A-Gap CA now that's a nice tasting glue . I like how you built up the arches.

Got hold of some Mapp gas and some steel today so i had my first bash at proper Brazing. Does anyone know before i try anyway! Question??? Can i clean the paint off standard Hi-lift chassis rails and braze it directly? So i dont have to muck around with bolts and holes! |

Right just one pic i'm still shaping and sanding but i'm still working hard just haven't got anything exciting to show anyone yet! Apart from the Bumpers welded nicely in place and the sliders are well on there too! The Chassis has been primed to. Big thanks to Chris for the Axial Tranny and thanks to Ruffryder for the Esc and all the other electrical gubbings More soon when it's all in primer. |

| BIG Problem Was working away on the shell today sanding away and well how can i put this................. :-(It fell off the bench! :-( Snapped Capoot Knackered Split! Still better to happen now than the first time it goes on its roof out on the trail. Not impressed so i'm either going to have to build a nice chunky steel Cage for the back or and i dont want to start again build a new topper. Think i'm going to go for the simple cage idea. |

looks good as that generation pick up. still pretty unique. but yeah, the top should be sufficiently strong to take some abuse, at least some rolls...SebringMGB's took some serious rolls before it snapped. he's building a better, stronger one now. you should too. Dont give up. |

Plastic weld actually melts the plastic thus welding the two pieces together. I know a lot of mode shops stock it, you can also get it on e-bay for about £3.00. | |
