Been Busy this weekend, got alot done.
The primer is on!
Have decided against doing the arches i might regret it but i have had a gut full of sanding. Maybee in the future when it gets beat up i might tackle them but for now there staying put.

Pics

Primed

Ford Arizona Gold it looks ligther in real life less orangey my camera is pants.

Toyota White040 Top

Got the rear seats and the floor in and one window. I really didn't need to worry to much about getting the window holes to good cos once the Windows are in it sharpens it up a treat.

Pulled the front stinger and winch off will make some new ones, have also got the poorly looking front panel totidy up.

more to come but she's looking teh part now.

Nice rig. My buddy has a 1:1, but he won't even get it dirty. :-(

Some more progress on my 4 Runner Project.
Getting there! Tackled the Area i was dreading, the grill. Not Sure but it's growing on me.
I wasn going to leave it but without the Square Headlamps it just looks like a Hilux with a Topper.
Got a Roofrack Brazed up and satrted detailing the body and interior.
Made a nice looking Jack as i dont have one!
All the seats are in just have the dash and door panels to do up front.
Three Windows still to make hence why theres no photos of the right hand side

More to come comments and sudgestions as always very welcome.

Overview:- Getting there!

Side View

Front View comments on the Grill Please cos i'm not sure?

Rear View have got the rear window to do yet.

The Tyres tuck nicely under the arches as planned

Handmade Roofrack with Hi-lift jack

All the Seats are in now and painted

rears

Have got to paint and detail the dash and also make the door panels

It's growing on me

Bit of both Skill helps but it's mainly patience. Lot of luck involved as well

Wow, i tried something like this without the top, and you blew it away. If you came up with a way to make the square fenders it would be crazy.

Project: Sweet Leef

Thought i'd hack up a clod body and make some that way.
Just on the look out for a knackered one.

I sold it to someone on here, rc4x4nut I believe, and he re did it orange and put back seats in it and everything. He then sold it to another memeber on here, cant remember his name, and they then put it up on ebay not to long ago and from there I dont know...

I could have only wished mine came out as good as yours, you windows in the back look awesome, I was really struggling with how to make my back ones with the rounded top area of the back window.

Also I think the grill looks AWESOME! it definitely has gone from a trekker/hilux w/cap look to a 4runner looking rig now. I would maybe paint the stock body flares black, then add rivets to look like it has buschwacker flares on it which will really help it pass as a runner Or at the least add the black section in front of the rear wheel well ;)

I love your roof rack and the lights, and the high lift jack is done nicely, however I think its to large for the rack and the truck, but thats just me. Overall.....Killer project
