| Just another Landy
Hello everybody, this is'nt my first build, but the first scaler. It's equiped with TLT axles, pede tranny, RC4WD mashers, hummer rims etc. I like to start with some "stripped" pic's of it and hope you'll enjoy them... ...okay, it isn't a build tread, cause i've got no time for taking pic during the build, sorry! :-( But for my next projekt, a FJ Cruiser, i've allready made a few pic's from the start on! ...more will follow soon!!! ...how can i add images?! ...tried it, but too stupied to do:-( Last edited by Dr.Frank; 07-14-2008 at 01:15 PM. |

...first i would like to say: thank you, thank you, thank you, i did my very best so far, still learning from all of you! And now some more words about the landy: The frame is custom made out of rectangle shaped aluminium tubes (take good care while bending them in shape!), the rollcage is also made out of aluminium and it's "cold" welded with JB-Weld. Green color is Tamiya PS-8 (light green) and i like it too. ...and now some more pictures (details) and the wiring diagramm: 1. Wiring diagram: 2. Something missing: 3. Here it is, ready for mounting: and last but not least: ...upps, upside down she goes |

Very nice Landy! How does the J-B Welded rollcage hold up to abuse?

'till now, it withstands several rollovers, without any problems, but... ...the Landy is very light weighted (aprox. 3 kg) and nothing is better than welding, or soldering 8-) |
