Default Toyzuki v2.5 gearing help.

Just got my Toyzuki chassis and with the actual configuration I can’t fit my 3 brothers Kratos motor, since the drive shaft gets in the way.

I see there’s another configuration that uses some gearing to offset the drive shaft and give room for a bigger motor.
Can someone tell me what parts do I need to build this?

Best regards from South America !!!

The lower photo is the v2 gear box. I will see if I can get you the list of gears but then you wont be able to use the 2.5 gearbox bc your gearing will be way low.
What about using an sdi prop shaft? It is way smaller than normal drive shafts?

It uses an 18t and 36t from the scx10 II kit. Ptobably 5 5x11x4 bearings. Don't know the distance for the standoffs off hand. This will double your gear reduction and you can and imo absolutely should use it. But you should increase your voltage or motor speed if you want to keep the top speed. Gear reduction is the best way to increase the minimum speed and torque of any vehicle. And if it helps to make your motor fit better its win-win. You can also offset this by getting a larger pinion and smaller spur if more voltage or higher kv motor isn't an option.

SDI Prop shaft would do it too.

This seems to be the most common solution. JimRC on Facebook may have some on hand. They need to be trimmed down and have a flat spot grinded for the grub.

You could also just cut that shaft down too. Be careful though I don't know how deep the ridges are.
