Damn, Mike! That thing is awesome.
I met Jason out at EJS this year. He is a cool dude.
His 'yota is sick, I snapped a few shots while out on the Crawl media run.

So I must be in the dark, are you (Mike) replicating Jasons 1:1 yota? Might be a stupid question since yours looks like the 1:1 but still gotta ask. Jason is a cool guy he came out to our local comp we have weekly at the hobby shop I work at, he said he wanted an axial and I told him I would trade him mine for his 1:1 he didnt go for it lol. Anyways nice work on the build.

The original builder was building the truck closely to Jasons 1:1, when I got it I was keeping with the same theme thats why the interior is closely replicated to the 1:1 with the same paint scheme and center console. I did change the bed up though so it wont be an exact replicas but a similar truck. In the end Jason's 1:1 is a real inspiration for this truck and is a BAMF.

Well I had some time to work on the Atomic Toy this weekend, I had cut the bumper off a week or so ago and have been planning out the new front bumper. I go some inspiration from Chino63s real scale crawler, as well as the bumper on the real Atomic Toy.

I missed taken pics of the beginning of the bumper build, I was getting my ass kicked for some reason so here is when I remembered to snap some shots

I then added in some side supports

Body on

No bumper of mine would be complete without a Juggsterr winch. Since the stock juggsterr winch plate is aluminum, I replicated the best I could out of some sheet metal

With the winch mounted up

and the finished product

Sorry for the huge pics, my photobucket account is awaiting payment update and I cant update it because its some BS automatic process so I am using a different photo hosting for now...

Brandon, its just regular 3/16 solid from home depot. I just run it on the wire wheel before I do anything.
