Yeah, its time to do some serious work...it has to be done if I am going to make it to scale nats. do work son! Thank you 1st order of biz was this AWESOME new snorkel from LowslowTJ. Verne asked me if I would be willing to be a tester for the new snorkel of his. After owning some of his other products, such as his flares, I knew this would be a killer product. When I arrived home Friday night from work an envelope was chillin on the counter with my name on it. So this morning, I cracked it open. Soon as I pulled it out of the bag, I knew this thing was going to look kickass on the Atomic Toy, it was already molded in black and pretty much ready to be installed. Had NO air bubbles or anything and the fit was pefect. I hit it with some flat black paint as it was a little bit more glossy then I wanted, and then shoe-goo'd it to the truck cab. While that was drying, I put the truck all back together. The snorkel I think looks great, only advice I have is to use a MINIMAL amount of shoe goo! I used to much and it oozed out some :banghead: I spent a good 15 minutes trying to fix that without destroying the paint... using a technique Bob/eddievedder explained to me, I dapped some testors aluminum on a brush, then wiped the brush off, then gingerly (haha) went over the grates on the snorkel Truck flexes it out pretty good, but the back is binding after a certain point..not sure what the problem is yet  rear shocks are in, need to get some new Bruiserbuilder boots...these OG bruiser ones are to short Made a hold down for the spare as well This next part, youll have to look closely to see...in person it is awesome and I have been saving these for a loooooonnnnggg time now, waiting for a worthy enough build to use them on. Plan is for brake lines and all and last photo Thanks for looking -Mike | |

sick truck for sure as usual. i love the colors. only thing that i really dislike is the bling blingness of the rims. it draws attention away from the truck. they are super awsome but they need a duller finnish imo. looks great though. |
