Clear glass was my last Bruiser Builder/scale hobbies window. Only clear option I know of now is the Kamtec one off ebay. I also heard a rumor that scollins (spelling) on Tamiya club may be making one as well and some sort of interior for the High Lift Hilux.

The interior is an OG Bruiser interior...cost me 50$+ of ebay cant touch them for any less now a days....

I am not sure if he will be offering the same services, I know he shut down his site.
What one do you have in the image on page one? Is that a buiser builder shield?

That would be the Bruiser Builder one. I know Dean uses the Kamtec one and Ben had one in one of his Bruisers that I saw while in his shop at scale nats. Either one will work good, much better then the original because its extremely unlikely that it will crack like an OG would.

Alright, I got started on the half doors today...went to walmart to get paint and they were all out of the orange Not a big deal really as I have to build the door out with styrene and make the inner door as well. I am also thinking of swapping out the axial trans for an R2 otherwise I would have to build a center console because if I drop the floor it is still going to hit the transmission.

I also hit the sliders with some flat black

Let me know what you think of the doors...as you can see I originally was going to cut more then opted not to after looking at the junk yard dog build and a couple 1:1 trucks.

Thanks
Mike

Can you move the tranny further back? That way the spur will be out of the way.

Brandon,
I actually flipped the tranny around to the passenger side of the truck so the spur gear would be under the seat and not where the floor board will be... but the top of the trans itself is still going to be in the way when I drop the floor. Plus there is a really cool hanger bearing set up that I am trying not to interfere with... That is why I think the r2 will be better choice because it has a much lower profile.

"Atomic Toy"

http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/feature...kup/index.html

This build is definitely shifting gears...I am going for a very similar truck to this atomic Yota. I just spent the last 45 minutes or so shaving the front fenders down similar to the 1:1

Did the door handles too while I was at it...nothing like melting plastic at 2 am

Did some more work this morning, after seeing 51willysjeep and k2s hilux with cab backings all detailed out I had to make some modifications to this one. Certainly not the best job, I should have rounded the corners better but it looks the parts.

Alright, doors are DONE, and dash it cut... I also just dropped some coin at The Crawler Store for an R2 transmission, hitec 645 servo and a 45 turn lathe motor and some bearings (front axle has none right now).

I forgot that when you do the half doors that the bench seat is out of proportion the back side isnt long enough... so I have another OG Hilux interior that I can use to extend the seat, or depending on how much room I have I may be able to fit some recaro seats in like the real Atomic Toy. Ill have to wait to see what happens when my R2 gets here.

For now, ill just start making the dash parts and cutting it all up.
