Default Need an opinion

Ok I am at the point of what to do with the seat situation... The real truck has bucket seats much like these recaro ones I have. Problem is that I cant drop the floor any lower right now ... I even notched it to clear the upper part of the R2 which wont be a problem because ill be able to hide when I build the custom center console like the 1:1 has... So here are some pics of how it looks...obviously the seats should be a lot lower in the truck...

If this doesnt look right then phase 2 will be in affect...will lengthen the back side of the bench seat to be more proportionate....

Thanks for the help
-Mike

You could cut the headrests off, but that might look a lil funny. Or you could maybe shave the bottom of the seats. I really like the recaros but they are a lil big for some builds.
Then agian you could always scratchbuild some. With your styrene skills you could just copy the recaros, but make em the size you need. If that wouldn't work foam is alway an option. A lil spray adhesive & an old shirt will get it done!

Hope that helps

I would have to go with shaving down the seats. It's hard to visualize it but could you take down the bottom of the seat by an 1/8"? Maybe that would give it a better look.

Tuff decision though.

You guys rock, I checked the bottom of the seats and there was easily an eight of an inch of non seat that could be removed
