Default War Pig's 1.9 scaler

I started this thing a week ago, and finally have enough done that I can start a build thread.

Frame rails are 3/16" aluminum
Delrin skid
Pede tranny with Holmes 45t handwound
TLT axles
Tlt front shocks, Jammin' crt rear (with 1/4" uptravel 1/2" droop)
Flatirons cut down to 1.9
Tamiya Hummer wheels
3-link front
4-link rear
Custom bumpers, rock sliders, roof rack, lights, etc.

The whole truck will be based on this truck, possibly my all time favorite 1:1

More pics to come.....

Looking very cool, where did you get the Jeep body from. Is hat the final height for the front end or will it go higher?
I've had pics of that Defender on my computer for ages waiting for someone to make a decent 1/10 replica.

Seeing some of his other builds, I bet he turns the Jeep INTO a Land Rover.

Great start. I watching this one.

Alright guys, let me rephrase it. The Disco is the "inspiration" for the Grand Cherokee build. I just love the stance of the Disco, the stretched wheelbase, chopped out fenders, low overall height, etc.

This truck is my other inspiration, Jasons old truck (H3RESQ). You will see some similarities between his truck and my build.... like bumpers annd spare tire carrier.

She's a roller.

I just need to work on things like the electronics, battery tray, receiver box mounts, bodywork, paint, bumpers, etc......

looks killer in white! I'm digging this build. looks appropriately rugged, like the disco inspiration.
I love the front suspension set up. looks clean.

Thanks guys......just kidding on the white

What do you think of this color?

It will get a light wet sand, and a couple coats of clear Wednesday.
