| Dratch's Defender Build
My WK Bronco is finished so I decided to try my hand at building a 1.9 rig. I started with the body, I know there's a lot of Land Rovers out there but I really like this truck and its a decent shape for my first styrene body. It's finally starting to look like something so its time for a build thread. Here is the body after week 1 of the build. If you would like to see more pictures of this build, here is a link to the web album for this truck. http://picasaweb.google.com/WarBoss....DefenderBuild# Thanks for looking, what do you think? Great work on the body! But are those styrene tubes on the rollcage? Think it will hold up in a roll?

Thanks! I made the styrene cage so I have a model for the steel cage. I am making the Chassis from plate steel and the cage from brake line. The cage mounts to the body just like the aftermarket cage for the Defender, 4 points in the bed and 2 on the cowl. The body mounts will bolt into the cage from underneath.
