Well besides price, the scx10 is more scale looking because of the c channel frame but it is also very capable. However, every one's scx10 pretty much looks the same. I think you could get more performance out of the x trail they each have there pro's and con's |

Granted there are a large number of "Box Stock" SCX10's out there but look around before you say "They all pretty much look the same" Here's a few samples of "different" SCX rigs My personal favorite Sorry I don't have action shots for each, they are all in their owners garages now. |

| Not yet, I'm actually building an X trail. Kinda funny huh? And my "Shop Truck" is an old mountaineer. I think they both have good qualities. Nothing wrong with either. I picked up the Xtrail because it was such a great deal. I'll build a rig for my 5 year old to run. |

If you're looking to go scale, then go scale. Get the scale chassis. How many 1:1 trucks use flat stock for their frame?.... Hopefuly none But, if your looking for something kinda semi-scale, then go for the x-trail. Its kinda like when hardcore crawler guys put an hpi truck body on a moa rig and think they have a scaler. Get serious.... Trucks use c-channel or box frames. Not flat stock.

I know it's been argued before, I'm not trying to start it all over again and get 'demerrit points' against me, I just wish we could all figure out how to have fun together with all of our rigs. | |
