AWESOME! Nice 58 flattie! I'll take a bunch too! Once you get that done, how about the Utility Wagon. My Dad owns a 1:1 1962 Willys Utility Wagon I've been trying to get from him for years. Nice work!

Got a little done on it. The bed is pretty much done other than the round tube for the rails. Hood and grill are done and working on front fenders. |

Simply amazing work. Those old Willys are so damn cool, you're gonna have a ton of guys who are gonna want to buy that from you! Can't wait to see how this build ends up.

What do you guys think for paint choices? I reall want to go the beater look, faded worn black paint with primer coming through in spots. What do you think? I want it to look as real as I can so a little "age" would help make it look more realistic. Your thoughts. Finished front fenders, now onto pre-paint bodywork. Will get pics up soon.

I think the faded look will be the most appropriate finishing touch for this build. I think I'd personally not do black though as that color tends to hide some of the detail work that you'd want to show off on this rig. a quick search yielded some nice original colors, which weathered would look awesome IMO. my favorite is the two tone http://www.britepic.com/gallery.php?...up+-+Ad+125959 |
