Default 1.9 Willys Jeep Pickup project!

This is just a teaser photo because I can't show you everything but I have always wanted to do this and now is the time. After looking at scratch builds on this site, I had to go through with it. All I can tell you right now is the body is styrene mostly, with a sign foam roof (easy to carve). It is going on my high lift, 11 inch wheelbase. The body is 100 percent scale but I did make the bed a little taller, looked better.I will add more pics as it comes along. Good things come to those who wait.

It looks like it should turn out very good. The only problems I am having is the cowl area and windshield pillars, but I have an idea that I will attempt tonight. I would love to mass produce it so everyone could have one.

Oh Cory, the crayons have been long gone. Here is another teaser, I can't show you this all at once, this is going to be my pride and joy so I'm taking the time to makes things correct. Here is the finished passenger side door for you to feast your eyes on.

I am pretty darn good at the Ol Styrene as well, but I have been limited to its strength at times. Is this going to be sturdy enough?

Do you think you lucked out on the lines being mostly straight and not angular?

Just curious as I am debating building a scratch TJ for mine.

These are some pics of the cab and bed. I have to still make a rear fender, floor and tailgate for the bed. Front end, fenders and hood should be done by the weekend I hope if I can put some time in it. Strength is great, reinforced all areas that were glued together from the inside.
