Default My Tamiya Tundra

Just got this in yesterday and started building it up. Not sure what color to paint it. Building it stock for now, but that will change.

Sidewinder ESC
DX3R
Stock motor
RC4WD Prowler tires

Anyone see the potential for a cool looking tube rear end?

Looks cool, I just picked up mine yesterday but spaced the bearing kit so it won't be assembled until next week.

Funny you mention the truggy, thats the first thing I said when I pulled the cab out of the box.

I like a darker color on this body...

I saw one of these for the first time yesterday, Tamiya is killing me! Typical Tamiya scale quality as they nailed the body of the Tundra. So glad they did this truck. I'm a hardcore Jeep guy but Yota P/U's have always had a special spot in my heart. So now I have three Tamiya's to get, the HiLux, Wrangler and Tundra!

Default I can't wait to see people start cutting those bodies up

I'm sure we'll see pretty awesome ideas come out of that body, just like the F-350 and the Hilux builds on this forum

Lookin good so far

Got more work done on it.

I wanted to get some outdoor shots today, but it just kept raining.

So what do you think? I may get rid of the light bar in the bed.

Looks good, nice color. I think it would look better without the light bar.

I think it looks awsome as is!! The light bar needs to be replaced with a roll bar but other that that it looks great......

imo; The Tundra is the best looking scale truck Tamiya has came out with in a long time

Okay...its official. Light bar has to go!!

The color is Gun Metal, and no other mods at this point. Down the road for sure, just to many projects.

wow thats a great looking rig, and that wheel and tire combo looks great.
i won't beat you up about the lightbar...
