| No pressure ............... I really appreciate all the postings from everyone, gives me more drive to really nail this one. Ive got myself now to the point of ( i think ) the toughest part ...... well I'll leave that for a surprise when its done. I'll have some photos updated tomorrow night after I give her a bath and clean it up a bit before I tackle the bump stops ....... oops Ive already said to much. Thanks again everyone. |

Thank you, I feel honored being able to share my fun building the miniature version. I can only imagine how much fun it was building the real thing. Any pictures youd like to share with everyone Im sure we wouldnt mind, that and any interior shots would be great too. Ive been following your build at Petersons, will you be updating interior pictures soon? Last edited by Robbob; 11-25-2008 at 07:22 AM.

WOW!!!!! That's all I can say! Please explain the bender? Looks to be a socket for wheel locks? How are you using it? |

The bender is a hole saw and set of vice locks.

Hole saw...that would explain the slot in the side. Once you have the tube clamped to it, how do you bend it? Trying to get tighter bends than what my bender will do without kinking the tube.

| WOW If your build keeps going at this pace, I have no doubt that it will be in the top 5 if not the best build on RCC. Your craftsmanship is perfected, AMAZING job, I look forward to seeing your progress. But I have to ask, will this see rocks or have a nice view from a shelf? |

i have center marks on the holesaw and the vicegrips, once its locked on at my mark i just use the bench top to press one end against and roll the vice grips to bend the tube, slow and not much pressure. i bought two different types of benders before this and they work well but A: cant get small enough bends B: hard to get the bends in the right spots. Hope that helps, if not let me know and I can video it being done. BTW thats a 3/4 inch hole saw I used on everything.
