Default hi lux transmission options

Im looking forward to get a hi lux and i want to make it scaled but the transmission is in the way of the interior. I want to keep my 3 speed so what are some options on the transmissions so i could put an interior in the car.

Dont know if anybody else tried this, but on the front face of the gearbow there is 2 holes about 3/4in apart under the spur gear. if you drill these out you can fit a motor on the front side of the tranny and get it a few inches lower. Only works with the stock gearing though...

I spaced my motor away from the plate with spare axle links drilled through all the way and cut to the correct length.

You mount the transmission under the hood of the truck, then run a driveshaft from it to a second transmission or transfer case in the center of the truck which then turns your driveshafts.
