Default Colby's 1.9 Tuber

Well, this build has been going on for a little while, but neglected to put it on here just yet as i feared of being hollered at since it didnt look THAT scale. But heres my build over the past few days.
First, i traded my nitro buggy for this:

and heres its "Rebuild" if you will.
Frame itself

Mock up

Now to start with bolting up some nicer, sturdier parts onto these axles.
On the rear I installed straight axles and junked the servo plate, im going to make a better one.

And this was the front..past

Present. all beefed up steering, as you can see later i didnt keep it like this.

I'm about to get some Hot Racing Air Internal shocks for this thing, but heres the rear end.

Then I Got it back to roller status with the 2.2's

Well, Ive never had the opprotunity to ever try my hand at an interior, so I tried my hand at it on this one and i think it looks pretty good?
Dash and console

R2's mocked up

Found a seat from a newbright jeep body and cut it to fit the R2, it sucks that the shaft will come through, but when the body and drivers in you wont be able to see it.

The hole reason for me wanting to turn this thing into a scaler is because how awesome the XRRA bodied buggies are, so I chopped up my old black grappler and made some side panels from styrene, and im going to actually connect it to make it a full body.

Should I keep the alu. skin on the front?

Holy Crap! Paint! and finished body!!

I took some of the stickers from the old pannels and reused them and i think they look pretty good. I need 2 big main stickers for the sides, dunno about that yet.

Update
Interior is as done as its going to get right now, and i shortened up the front with a few new goodies, check it out:

On the console i made shifter, dig, and lock/unlock the diffs. I know it wont have that, but i still put it on there

Then I got the 1.9's and this is how she sits now.
How do you like it now? I freakin love it!!

WB ok? Does it need shortening?

Do YOU think I should get tlt's? Is it narrow enough?

Let me know what you think guys. The more comments the better. I think this is the first rig ive gotten to 95% done with and still loving it, and it runs!!

There actually custom. My buddy made them with some parts from a stock TLT kit. I just put pen springs on the bottom. They look pretty good, but they suck

I actually went to theROOSTER's house today and shot some vid, but my servo was overloading my BEC in my sidewinder and it freaked out while i was climbing and it rolled off a big hill all the way to the bottom. Broke all the nice body panels off, so i have to start from scratch. I will ask him to post what video we managed to get before i took my fall

The thing is im really wanting to do a XRRA style buggy. The Rockware buggy was my main inspiration, but no I did not build it, just traded my cen matrix nitro buggy for this artr. I was going to scrap it but then saw how awesome the tuber was. Since I didnt build it, i have to work with what i have, i cant braze to save my life.
