Default Dads present

Whats up guys.

Well i figured i would put a truck together for my dad as a Christmas present. nothing to special, just a F-350.

i didnt get a chance to take a pic of it when i got it in the mail.

this is what i started with, a green body. A i put a few coats of gloss black on it tonight.

my buddy Justin gave me a hand taring down the chassis while i was painting.

this is what i got left with at the end of the night.

Tomarrow i will be finishing up the body, and lock the front axle.

The plans for this thing

R2 Tranny
those red leaf springs from rc4wd
crushers
novak 55
novak rooster crawler esc

i will get more detailed on the build tomarrow, thanks for looking

ok guys heres an up date

tore down the front axle, it was making a hell of a lot of noise. little bit of greese did the job.

since i had the diff cover off, i trimed it a little. and then hit it with flat black

then it was on to the leafs, im only going to run one leaf set up on this truck.
and they were all bent out of shape

after a lil bending back

and lastly, got some coats of paint on the body. it looks like crap

and some poser shots

thanks for the comments and looking guys

Looks good. The black diff cover look a lot better that chrome. You going to paint the front bumper and grille body color? Keep it up.
