Default My Dodge Ram

Well here is the project I have been working on for a while.

Started with an X trail from Brandon. Added some other goodies and this is where I am at. I am running a GD600 to an Axial "transfer case".

Here are the pics.... any questions please feel free to ask.

Specs:
55 turn motor
Eritex Magnum 1.9 wheels
Proline Flat Iron 1.9 tires
tubed out rear. I really liked how it turned out. I brazed studs on it so it will completely unbolt from the plate.
I will have another Magnum and Flat Iron coming so it will have a full functioning spare.
All of the scale parts are from Prolines new collection. The bumpers, racks, cooler, tool kit, tools, Jack and everything are really detailed.

Ok, I am sold on those Proline parts now. That thing looks sick. Whats up with that front coil? IS the axle not set right - meaning the front links not long enough?

Looks sweet! I have one of those bodies and I really should get started on it. The proline bumpers really look the part. Great job!

Some of the pics are from when I started. All adjustments have been made in the last pics and the rig drives great.

I will get some more pics up today on some rocks. I will have to say that this rig is way more impressive in person.

I have plans for a full interior next.

That looks really good. I like what you did with the tranny, great idea. What did you use for the top, to mount your springs Looks awesome.

I just used some small pieces of delrin. The coil wraps around the delrin to hold it in place. The bottom of the coils are just held in place by the limit of the shock.

I'm going to do one of these but leaf sprung. At least I know the AX-10 axles are not too wide. Nice job sir.

Looks great, but it would look better w/ round head lights.

Digging all of the Pro Line scale accessories.

Very Very nice looking rig.
Damn I'm glad they brought this body out. But a bit sad with your paint scheme.

I think those pro-line bumpers really fit the ram sweet for sure.

Thanks.

The Proline stuff is really plug and play but it is well worth it.

The covers come off of the lights and you could run some LED's with some minor effort.

LOL! I was going to do flat orange with black but last minute at home depot yielded the black and khaki.

Full size 2.2 Proline memory foams and the weight of the rig gives it the perfect scale tire bulge as well.
