Default hotwheels wreckluse

Well, I decided to switch gears a little. I still wanted a Jeep for a scale "comper"....so....

Specs will be close to this list:

RCP wreckluse chassis modified by me
Hi-lift axles
Holmes hobby 25 turn hand wound holmeshobbies.com
MSD scale winch montanascaledesigns.com
Rc4wd 2.2 mudslingers ut down to 1.9 (for the trails)
Rc4wd 110mm dual spring shocks
1.9 flat irons (GP)
Mamba max esc
CCbec
5995 servo frame mounted
High steer knuckles
Full interior
Front and rear inner fender wells
Specktrum/nomadio radio gear
Axial tranny
Roof mounted leds
And what ever other little scale ideas that come to mind

I started with this

And did this

Ended up with this

A little shaping and brazing and I had it back together

Changed the stinger up a bit. Stole this idea from hacksters 1:1

Still have a ways to go and waiting on a few parts to come in.

The cut up Slingers look realy nice. And I love that you got rid of the stinger... never been a big fan of them.

Thanks, they were from a previous build (mercy truck). And that stinger was just asking to be cut off as big as it was...plus I cant leave anything alone.

A little work on the front end tonight.

Servo mount and winch are in place

Triangled the lowers and added delrin links

Also reworked the shock towers a bit to get the ride hight I wanted. Should end up at 2.5" at rest, 3" drooped out

Looks good Devlin. I was watching the progress thinking to myself "that looks alot like Seans buggy" and then I saw the front end. Great job, will this be replacing your 2.2 Toyota scaler in Montana?
