With the zero uptravel it has now I might stick with the stock gearing and a 1500 nimh 2/3 6c. The 35t is not too shabby. No lipo 3c or brushless for now!

Looks good, but you mounted the shocks to the wrong location ;)! Get some 4-40 allthread and run it through the open tubing at the end and mount the shocks to that. The rear nuts are meant for the panels. But really, it's up to you, if it works, go for it!

Good to see it arrived after the delay!

It was done on purpose. the front shocks are longer fully compressed. It has the right amount flex i was looking for. If need be I can run the same size shocks that are in the front in the correct mount locations in the furture with some allthread. this was sort of the look iwas shooting for \/

I'm glad I saw this because I was wondering the same thing for my build. I thought that was why you left that rear tube open

great looking build, I'll get some pics of mine posted up one of these days

Thanks, I wish the wheels could give it a more narrow track width.

Please do, I would like to see some different ideas and setups for this style of chassis.

Gotcha! Are you planning on painting up the panels in the same colour scheme as the Monster buggy?

I guess I'll have to build one of these for myself someday

Not sure, I was thinking of going with yellow. I'm still undecided. I can always make more than one set, and change it out whenever.

You gotta build one of these for yourself:-P, Or we can trade for the Fat Girl chassis J/k.

Mine will be awhile, I'm still finishing my CR01 and Hilux Trailfinder

Don't know if you've seen TattooKenny's build, he also has the same chassis and his build is looking pretty damn good
