| ok first off. awesome site and rigs. got some major bad a$$ in here. hope i can keep up. i'm poor boy. i figured i would start a thread to keep moving on the project j8. so i'm working on the detail of the rig. like dash. mp3/cooler, (did i just say that. oops) the small things that makes a scaler come alive. so bare with me. i have more time then money. starting with: $20 wally world JK body custom frame. future parts: ax10 axles R2D2 unit killer t-case 1.9 wheel and tire set up i'm not going crawler. just a every day driver / trail rig. here's what i'm looking at: ![]() as for the frame. still playing with that. i just want to make it look and work right. OCD is a bi#*h. ![]() the dash. i'm going all out.........this is just the beginning of the dash. even the nav system is getting reworked......don't like. but it's a start. ![]() ![]() as for the new bright chassis, i couldn't ditch it.....so......merry christmas little sis. ![]() please shoot it down. i don't care. i need input. thanks for looking. | Looks like you are off to a good start. The only thing I would suggest is that if you do a chassis in Plexi, I would make it thicker than you have. The 1:1 reference pic, is it photoshoped? Justin |

| Thank you to all that have stoped by and for the feed back. i picked up some primer and filler last night and didn't open the can of filler till now. it's dried up, crap!!!!!! back to wally world i go. got a little more done on the body. i hope to have it finished tonight. i should be able to have the top done tomorrow. my frame rails should be done by this week. i hope!!!! i could not get anybody around here to cut them for me till the last number i called. he liked the idea so much that he said he would do it for free and what ever else i would need done. here is some shoots of the body. i know it's not much. ![]() ![]() i plan on removing the doors and making the top one pieces, once i get my hands on another body. |

| I like what you are doing with the body. The Jeeps the Israeli Army uses look like that. Where in Texas are you from? |

| Very nice build you have going here! I love the unlimited look on the JK. Is that 1:1 pic a conversion or something DC has in the workings? |
