I am building Big mikes 1981 Toyota from Marlin Crawler.com (owner of site)

You might be able to drill out the slots on the HPI wheels so they are holes like the 1:1. The holes would be bigger but I think it would look much better.

I think i can fill it with some styrene and drill some holes?
