| Got bored last night and decided to take apart a perfectly good truck to build my 1st scaler. I was inspired by the Blackfoot builds lately. I used a prototype X-trail I had laying around and used lower links from a 1/2 built TLT. (anyone got a alum X-trail for cheap?) I will have to redo the skid plate as it's not straight. |

| looks good, but seriously? http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-X-Tra...s-p-17242.html http://www.tcscrawlers.com/On-Sale-2...n-p-16556.html $40 for a complete alum frame new or $25 for a set of frame rails sounds pretty inexpensive to me , and from what I've seen there stuff is top notch quality. keep up the good work. I need to figure out what to do with the front. The shocks are hitting the servo, so I guess that has to move up into the frame Also stripped the rear locker while taking it off the wheelbase jig. | |
