Default X-Trail Blazer

The K5 Blazer rigs on this forum have been great so I decided to try one out. It's my first attempt at a 1.9 scaler so let me know what you think. It's been lot of fun to build and is done for now until I get more funds. I'm sure I'll have to tweek the suspension and steering after I get a battery through it. I'll probably water proof the electronics later on too. Here's some info:

TCS X-Trail chassis
AX10 tranny and axles
1.9 Tomhawks on RPP Edition Pythons
Proline bumpers and winch
Body color is Tamiya gun metal painted on the outside, backed with Pactra sprint white

Hey cool one of the nicest k5 builds! Can you post a pic showing the front of the truck...I'd like to see the width of the axles...I have a K5 body on my XC chassis but if I put that body on my WK axles the tires stick out too much.

Thanks, I'll try to get some front end pics later this week. I'm gonna try to have it ready for a comp this weekend.

It's been a while, but I have been enjoying the Blazer and decided I'd share some updates.

This is how it looked before my changes

Made some fender wells out of plastic containers that I cut to fit

Then my bandsaw broke...

A week later and now 4 painted fender wells, I also added some rocker guards using 2"x2"x1/16" angle

I got tired of the bar on the Proline bumper so I put a stinger on it, added some faux wiring to the proline winch

Got some 1.9 Rok Lox and swapped the bead lock rings on the Python rims, had to do some minor fender trimming in the back

Installed an antenna and tire carrier in the back

That's all for now, thanks for looking
