DEFENDIO...Defender of Mandio

Hello beautiful people! : wave:
Defendio is the name that I gave to my Land Rover Defender.
It is not my first Scaler, but I want to share this with you to know what you think ... if you like!
It is not yet finished but is well underway. : p
Begin! ;)
I started on 23 November 2008 and the material was to start this project:
Body hwpeterl
Chassis TCS X-Trail
Trasmissimon RC4WD R2 2speed
axle TLT
Motor Integy 55T
Servo TowerPro MG995
Rims RC4WD Land
Tires RC4WD Rock Creepers
most other accessories Aesthetic
colors
I removed the original paint metallic body with a cloth and alcohol
I had initially put a reducer 3:1, but I had to delete it because I had some serious problems to establish the link above
Wishing to reproduce the "off spring" of the true defender, I set the rear springs in this way
I know ... the servant on the front is not good, but it's very funzinale is more convenient to handle :D
first tests
... work in progress ...
I had to cut a little cabin :(
Then I went outside to Roll Bar
With some damage, but nothing serious ;)

Bumper port winch
The temperature was not ideal for the body paint
so I invented a furnace, with a box and a hair dryer Travel

the temperature was better :D
Now I'm working on your lights ... and soon will update with new photos

Clarification:
To speak with you use Google Translate on, so sorry if I commit errors / horrors, but I apassione is great, you always keep silent, but I wanted to Defend present it.
Thank you!

for me your english (even if it comes from google) is sufficently understandable. On the other hand, i am not a native english speaker myself.

I am really happy!
Brief summary of the design ... SUPPLIERS:
THESCALERSTORE.COM
SCALEOFFROAD.DE
DON JARR
THECRAWLERSTORE.COM
RC4WD

I have taken account of spending ... and never will again ... need to feel bad!
But the defender wanted him ... and I like a lot as we came
I did not make us stay the servant to turn the steering wheel and even one for the winch :-( ... I have more space.
The solution was to remove the rear seats, creating a single plan, but for the moment ... maybe in the future ;)
Now we show some photos and then I go to see if the batteries are recharged ... so we see if everything works :D
(The following photos are all static)
I await comments, criticisms, any other advice, etc., etc. ... "thumbsup"

WOW !!"thumbsup" Looks great!! have you had any problems with the springs pulling loose from the stays on the axle?

Mandio 01-27-2009 05:19 PM

I did a first test at home ... I do not want to sound disagreeable, but I like DEFENDIO really so much!

They behave well and see the springs that are detached from the chassis is exciting.

is well balanced, it seems that even without reducer able to see her ... Saturday will tell us: D

Here his first video:
