That's looking awesome! I love the front bumper, but I think it needs something under the winch...that thin plate looks a little "wispy". Also, do you get scale points for that rear bumper? Not much there, or are you going to try to push the rules like most everyone else ?
Trucks coming along great, can't wait to see it in Montana.

Nah, I could care less about scale points, I just build what my hands tell me to.. I don't really plan stuff.. That is actually rear bumper take 2, the first one didn't really look right...

I'm thinking of cutting the corners of the tailgate still, the small rear bumper would flow with that..

Besides, my driving will kill any chance of me winning, so no sense in bending rules

Im thinking of a small skid under the front to protect the steering, but we will see, like I said, I like to wing it

thanks for the compliment, you build some bad ass rigs yourself

Those bumpers look great! The winch plate needs to be a little thicker though.
How the hell do you keep your bench so clean?

I agree on the winch plate, But nothing a tube bent to the perimeter of the plate wont fix, that way he can tie the winch to the frame with tubing..

Killer build, that thing is beginnign to look sinistar.. if were 1:1 it just begs for a nasty big block bowtie!!

Are you guys concerned with durability?

because the way that all ties in, I can pick the whole truck up by that winch plate... Its pretty stout

I may still mess with it, well see.

Thanks for all the comments.

use tenax 7r or plastruct bondene. they are both solvents that melt the two pieces together.
