Talking ~TSS~ Customer Build: John's G55

John contacted me awhile back wanting me to build him a G55.
after finally finding a NIB nikko G55 body (discountinued $$$) i got to work collecting parts and finally have everything i need to start.

G55 hard body
TSS custom G55 chassis
TSS Trail Ready 1.9 Beadlocks
RC4WD 1.9 Prowlers
RC4WD 90mm dual spring shocks
Axial Tranny
and of course TLT axles.

got the wheels, chassis, and tranny assembled.

lots more work ahead

Wow! Nice grouping of parts - drooool.

Why bother with the CC with fun like that happening!
Where do the TLT's put the outside of the tires on the Gwagon?

Prowlers are not even close to the softness of the Thrashers. Prowlers are a great tire though. Scale looking and work very good.

Cory this is going to be good. He is a lucky guy to have you build him a rig.

Yeah I have tuned into this build also.

Our club is currently doing a "1.9 / hard body only" build between 8-9 members and one of them is doing up a G wagon build. Watching Stang's build almost makes me want to join up to their fun and do my own hardbody build.

Looks great Cory. Those shocks look a lot better with one big spring on them. Did you use Associated springs?
