| Jeep Wrangler YJ....
I decided to do a build for the new wrangler body coming out. it will be a leaf sprung chassis and follow all the curves of the real chassis. the chassis is made out of 1/4" alum and has a c-channel as well. going to run a rc4wd tranfer case and use a axial tranny to power it. here are a couple of shots do far.... |

the axles are for getting all the measurements right. i will use standard black ones later |

i say paint the tlt's black; that way when they get scratched the silver will show through just like it would on a 1:1

got the body in today. body fits nice on the chassis. just need to figure how high i want it to sit, and to find a good mounting place. |

Sweet chassis! Very cool build. sits a bit high for my taste but it rocks anyway cus its a YJ!!!

I'm new to this and I'm starting to plan a scale jeep build. I'm really curious where you guys are getting the bodies from? Ebay? I've seen a few of the tamyia jeeps but they are 400.00-500.00 is there another source?
