the cage was blue, got it sprayed flat black and got the body taped.

Where is everybody finding these hard plastic body at?I have been looking at Kmart,Target,Flea bay.Can somebody please tell me where to find these?

Ebay is your best bet.most stores have quit carring them.If you find one on ebay make sure its 1/10th scale.They make one that is 1/15th scale also and it really small.Look under (new bright jeep)

ok, got the body mounting done, finally! got my new tires on aswell, still have a bunch of little stuff planned for it and still have to do all electronics but here she is..

it looks good! the only think i would suggest its to maybe lengthen the wheel base just a hair, move the rear back more and maybe the front forward?? but other than that it looks great!!

I agree with 84bluetoyota. the wheel base is off just a little. I have a similar hardbody tj that I think is made by the same company (New Bright) I had mine set up like yours and it was very tippy. I lengthened the wheel base just a little and what a difference.
Your jeep looks great though and I love the hardbody tj's. I have three of the same bodies from 1/10 scale rc jeeps from the source aka Radio shack. I am just finishing up some small adjustments then a new paint job

thanks guys, and yeah, im planning on bumpin the wb just alittle longer, i had just got the body mounting done and thought id take pics. she's far from done. and yeah they are 1.9 flatirons, if thats what the axial comes with then yes lol.

looks awesome i really like that front bumper. i think your wheelbase is perfect, might not perform as well but what scaler is built for performace

thanks! still have alot of little plans for it....also sprayed the flairs in plastidip black last night and they turned out awesome! look just like jeep flairs now imo.
