Default My first more scale, scale build Wrangler

Well got this body with a bunch of holes in it was going to use it for my bash body
I didn't like the fat fender flairs of the rubacon.
So I figured I'd make it into a Wrangler lol
The fit on my CC-01 just looked goofy.
So lol

Now to start in on making it fir the chassis a little better.
Well without rebuilding the floorboards this is the best I could get it to sit on the CC-01.
Looks pretty good I think.

Like the second paint job, lol. Mud is always good.

Can I make a couple recommendations though?! lose the NIkko bumper and make one. They joined the fenders and flares to the bumper. Japanese spec TJ's had this so you can keep it, but the majority of US/Canadaian spec rigs didn't have that. To each his own though.

And, lose that aweful looking spare. You can do much better with a spare tire/wheel combo.

Ya I'll be changing the bumper in time.
And the spare I kinda wish I had cut the mount off and filled the hole before I painted it, now I need to find a single HPI race car rim and another mudslinger lol
But its in the works when I can come up with a little cash

I will in time lol I need to figure out how to stop the mud and grit from getting in the steering shaft that goes through the chassis.
Mud and stuff gets up in it and it binds the shaft, makes it hard to mud run when you cant steer lol

So What I've done so far is to fill that shaft as full as I could with grease, its helped a little but I think some
o-rings will need to come into play somewhere also.

Anybody else have a cure for this problem or is there any upgrade for the steering?
