Default The Pajero sickness is spreading!!!!

I haven't been feeling well thanks to excesivefire and pantablo,I caught the Pajero fever. And the only cure is to build one.I finally got the body and immediately hacked the bumpers and fenders.Shaved the locks and side markers.Filled in the grill and sun roof.Made a cowl hood and got it primered.I still may hack the top off.Now I Just have to wait for the SCX10 frame to become available.Or I may tear apart my Bushwacker and use the K2-5 from it.
This is going to be a slow build for me,I have to go to the Augusta Ga GTG at the end of the month.I just need a frame so I can get going.
I'm going to learn to do a cage and bumpers so that should be fun. Will probalby use Axial axles and 1.9 Flat Irons.Going to pick up a set of CAC ONE9 12 holes.Got the 3racing winch and 90mm shocks sitting in a pile waiting.
In the mean time I think I'll try to make a dash.

The sickness subsided for a while but now its back! I'm sort of going with how JIA built,I mean is building, his Why J.I'm just letting it go with the flow so to speak.I'm calling it the "El Cheapo Jero!". Instead of buying a chassis I decided to build one along with the brackets for a front 3 link.So far so good. Front bumper is a plastic cutting board that I will dye black.I have a back bumper made so now I just have to blow it apart ,paint and rebuild it.
I wish I had more pics during the build but I got sooo focused on building that I forgot about the camera.Go figure,I just bought a new Nikon D90 too!
Once assembled its time for the interior and odds and ends.Going to wire up a winch and a dig on the 3rd channel and use a switch to supply power to one of them at a time.
Hopefully more pics to come

I thought panhards were supposed to run the same direction as the steering link? does it bind up like you have it?

I did not know that,THANKS.I may change it over then. But no,it doesn't bind at all. However I will have to make sure I set my endpoints because now turnig it by hand the steering will bind if the servo goes past the full steering lock on either side.

Exactly that same color! I'm going to do the hood and grill flat black and maybe a red or silver pin stripe down the side.

Already changed it after pantablo noticed it.Seems to work a little better now. Can't wait to get it on the rocks to see how it performs.

Interior is almost finished.I want to thank exesivefire for the body mounting and the roll cage idea..pure genius! Just have to add the guages and other stuff and mount the seats. The rear center area is hinged and thats where most of the electronics will go.Center console colors are an indication of the body colors.Body is drying and should be done tomorrow.Getting closer!

lookin good What color green is that?

If you add the roof rack and a light bar DON'T mount the lights on top of the rack mount them on the front and make them level with the rack

Its Faskcolor Faskpearl Key Lime.
Thats how I was going to mount them,in front of the rack.I have them mounted that way on my Bushwacker. The lights are protected when I roll, and thats quite often.
