I had to shorten the wheelbase by about 1/2" If you look in this pics you will see the rear shocks are not sitting right . I had to move the shock mounts up to the other holes on the frame . I used some Axial 70mm post for the new lower links . I have some 55mm on the way for the uppers . I also used TCS upper link mount on the rear . I think the wheelbase is right at 10 15/16" As for the front 3 link and steering mount from MSD . This was a easy install and very well made part . Check here for the how to . http://www.orcrc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4329 Last edited by Badd; 05-04-2009 at 06:49 PM. |

I also did the Gas tank mod like SMFtwstdHICK did . His seen here Another (better?) way to mount the battery? Other plan include removing the top . Not sure if it willbe behind the cab or if it willbe at the front windshield . Some tube work we are looking at Last edited by Badd; 05-04-2009 at 07:11 PM. |

Looks good Badd. I still need to screw my gas tank down in the back like you did. One of those little steps I forgot. |

There are a lot of kick-ass SCX-10 builds on here. This is going to be no different. I like the "gas tank" idea. I was going to build one out of styrene but maybe i'll pick up one of those instead.

I'm watching. You said 2 g8 flatirons for the front. Can you really tell much of a difference in the compounds? I assume the regular compound will go on the back.
