Default Pro-Comp Wrangler

I have started a new build. Decided to go scale with this one. Plans are to do a lot of tube work and get it as scale as possible. Here is what I have so far...

Looks great. I am actually starting out a build using this exact same body on an SCX 10 setup. Looks great so far. I haven't done much with the body yet cept cut off the rear bumper and peeled off the stickers. Right now I am focusing on shortening the wheelbase and redoing the rear suspension and redoing the whole driveline.

Anyways, looks great, I love the Ipod setup. Are you planning on widening the dash. It is too narrow right now. Keep us updated.

I was thinking about widening it but I would probably mess it up. I am going to be doing a rollcage so I will just make the bar will in that spot. It will look good when it is done. I am also doing tube fenders that will tie into rock sliders and the bumper.

I shuold have kept mine. This a very cool build. sad thing is I bought it for the body and the sold it because of the bronco body I wasn't doing anything with. I will keep in touch with this build.

Yeah man these are fun to build. you should get another one.

Update...
Decided it wasn't very Pro-Comp worthy so I hacked off the front fenders which will be replaced with tube when I get around to starting the tube work.

I am thinking about cutting the rears too so I can get a little more Wheel base out of it. What do you guys think?

I ran to home depot today and got some steel to start on the tubing. Didnt get a whole lot done but I go tthe fron radiator protection bar in. I am waiting on the chassi to start the roll cage becasue I am going to moutn the cage to the chassis so that I can take it off and still have a strong mount point ( instead of mounting on the plastic body). Here's the start of things. I will get more later...

Yeah putting those details in is easy and makes it 100% better:-P

Well, I got the axles and chassis yesterday. They were NASTY . So I tore em apart and gave them the old engine degreaser and put em back together with plenty of lube . I am not feeling well today so I took some aleve and I am back at it. I just cant put this thing down .
So, I started the roll cage and snapped a pic of the other fender...

I didnt like how plain the front hoop was so I bent it back in another place to make it look meaner. Then I cut out the middle hoop and the supports that go between the two. Then I changed the look agian.

Well If I am going to finish this thing in 3 weeks then I figured I need to get on it. so, I started on the chassis and links. I got the all the crossmembers cut and drilled, Mounted the steering servo, and got the front axle hooked up so far. I have 2 3racing whinch's coming in and I have some stock car wheels too. If anyone has some aluminum MRC shocks they dont need let me know.
