Default Crunk Rock *** 3/12 blue with questions too ***

hey its steve-o and i cant tell you all how happy i am now that crunky has given us this new frontier.

last time you saw us in action we were playing around with ed's Crunko.
Meet the Crunko
we are already putting her to good use to see what mods we might be needing on her next.

" hey boys come help unload some of this stuff i got from the swap meet..."

" sweet ! RC4WD rock stompers and a fresh blacked out set of axial beadlocks ! "

" this transmission is supposed to be really nice. "
" oh yea, the RC4WD 2 speeder... with optional clear window. this is going to rock ! "

" these high lift axles look to be in perfect shape. "
" yea i got them from a guy who rolled his rig over his second day out. "

" hey cool, a set of RC4WD shocks, and a 3R winch too ??? "

" here let's just set this chassis up on these stands here. "
" damn thats the new outback series from RPP... very nice. "

" well you know what this means boys !!!!! "

" PARTY TIME !!!!!! "

.... stay tuned

Cool. Like the little de-arching tool. Always an entertaining build with you. Keep it up.

ok i know its been a while since i wrote anything
up on this build so i fiigured i would ask a few helps.

when you saw the boys last they were setting up the leafs and such.
well now that is all done and they have mounted up the wheels on the axles.

we really really liked nat's Spare Parts Truggy <------ Click Here

we had hoped to build a chevdog and set it up a bit more like a warpig.
so we were hunting bodies.
we found two silverado bodies, but neither one have to correct wheelbase to use whole.

thats where the idea of making a warpig/truggy really started to kick into gear.

then when the silverado ss showed up its almost too dang nice to cut up,
so the boys have been taking measurements to see if they can 4 link the rear of the chassis to setup the ss.

what would you do ? one hand i was thinking maybe
shorten the cab to make it an extra cab instead of a crew cab.
then i was thinking just cut it up anyways.
who knows, time will tell.

wow here's to necroposting !
it's been a while since i viewed this thread. i had given up on this build when i had gotten rid of that outback chassis in trades for a UTE...
( the not so good 12" leaf )
well i got the outback - back in a trade and couldn't help myself !

anyways...well i was lucky enough to score a pretty nice little scaler from a buddy.

so i got right to work...

mocked up the chassis is almost as fun as dating an old girlfriend.

here's my attempt at the hood fill.

next up... should i fill the sunroof ?
also any other cool ideas for modding my chevy ?

hey man thanks !!!
got the moon visor done.

now i am just trying to figure out if i should bolt it, and leave it white as it would have come from lund, or glue it down and paint it with the body.

Default floor it !!!!

first attempt at a drop bed, i am pretty happy. i learned a few things along the way that i will do different on my next project.
i was hoping to make a shortcut and use the old floor... i still might add new strips down on this floor.

not sure what the openings will look like so i waited to cut them in on the bed sides...

thanks for looking, comments welcome !!!
