I have built one Mangler already and although happy with the results, in the end, the poor proportions of the body always bothered me. So like others, I have attempted to modify the body to be as scale as possible. Sorry I did not document from the start but here we are about 35% through. Look forward to any comments, critiques, etc. Parts List: RC4WD Tranny RC4WD Killer Case RC4WD Steelies Tamiya Shocks for now MFM Racing Chassis TLT Axles Punisher Shafts Stock Mangler Body First shots are the chassis, 4 link in place. Just starting to mock up component placement, etc. Last edited by FLB; 05-09-2009 at 05:21 PM. Reason: Parts have changed.

| Now for the body. I basically added approx 1" but centered the door openings between the two fender wells-close to the real deal. I had a donor Mangler that I used for extra door panels. I wind up with a 10" wheelbase. Interior was gutted and replaced with my own floor. Detailed dash in the works and brazed cage. Fixed the tailgate as well. Body has a lot more finishing work to go. | Got the wheels and tires on. Shocks as well-still futzing with ride height and angles. Started to mock up locations for tranny and case. Brazed a step bumper for the rear. Shots of the steering wheel I made as well. Having too much fun by myself- |

Update-although not much to talk about. Chassis is better-different shocks, more drive train installed I am fabing up a chassis mount for steering servo-will show later. Body is getting smoother-made a hood scoop as well.

Brazed up a chassis mounted servo bracket. Installed the electronics/radio. Got everything running, after a few bolts came loose

Got a set of the RC4WD Steelies-painted in primer white-they will look good after some paint fade and rust. Chassis has pretty good flex for a trail truck.
