Default Wifey's new H2 scale comp rig

I built the missus a CC-01 Soobie Brat to run in the local scaler comp series, and after her first day's crawling, she declared she needed "Something more... everything"

So, she's been collecting parts (with a little consultation with me) since and finally we have got them into a moving mass... First test drive today

Before anyone picks it, I still have to polish the ca glue fog off the body from attaching the flares

Basic ingredients are:

Reign K2-5 and front servo/link plate
Axial axles
RC4WD Punisher 2 shafts, R2DII tranny (turned around and the locking dog isolated for 2wd/4wd shifting), Outcroppers and Military beadlocks.
HR alloy C's, knuckles, bent links (front) and rear axle lock outs, HPI 35 turn and a Rooster Crawler. Enroute bent links at the rear.

There is other bits, but I can't remember all of them.

I'm really happy how it finished up. She picked out most of it, including wheel/tyre/body/paint.

Now I have to build a better scaler to keep up

Thanks!.

There is still a little more to be done. Unanimous agreement (between the 2 of us ) that at least one snorkle is required, and some mirrors and stuff.
Also, the front isn't articulating until the rear has pretty much run out of flex, so another pair of Losi pink's will be coming soon. But, that's what testing is about...

Updates will be posted as they happen.

The next outing will be the comp on the 19th, and if she drives it as well as she drove her CC-01 results will be interesting.

I think that looks rather lovely! Ditto the tire/wheel comment.

I'm not realy a h2 person but that thing looks sweet. Good job! wheels and tires are what make it look tough.

Agreed.... I was a little concerned with what I saw next, after I heard "I found a body shell"

But, yeah, I'm pleased with the result.
