Default New Chassis for the Cherokee (many pictures!)

Hi,
I have worked on a new more scale - but also not less captable - chassis for my XJ the last weeks. I started from zero with this new chassis, and would like to show you some pics here. The unique chassis design is made to fit some later coming parts like inner fenders, outer floor panels, Rocksliders and a gas tank dummy.

The frame:

I still have to make some adjustments to the leafs and the body heigth at the rear. First test drives were very successful.
Overall gear recduction is same low as my older chassis, but in 3rd gear she has also more wheelspeed as the old one. Enough to drive better through muddy areas and to have a bit fun with a sliding rear at 2WD mode.

Also many thanks to Alexander from RC-Laserparts.de. He helped me at every step to realize that chassis.

Thanks
Stefan

Default Real or Memorex

WOW

Place that in a realistic, outdoor backdrop, and it would be difficult to say it isn't real.

Really nice work on the frame!
What 3spd is that? Or is it yours (based on all your other machining skills)?

Absolutely amazing. Defenately gunna have to save up for one of these. Really like how you are going more realistic with the leaf sprung rear. Very nice touch.

Undeniably beautiful.

Although IMO Dana 60 replicas at stock width look a little funny under a XJ...

Is there anything that you do that isn't a work of art? I think this has to be my all time favorite scale rig. A true mixture of style and function. Btw, I love the leaf spring packs, that's totally freaking sweet! I totally enjoy seeing any and all of your builds. Keep up the awesome work!
