Looks good Justin. What made yougo with the Slingers rather than the Flat Irons?

I like both, but I run the Mud Slinger with the Land Rover LR3 body(I think it looks for scale with this setup) and I run the Flat Irons with the FJ40 body. Also the Mud slingers are a bit smaller then the "Flat Irons". I usally run the Flat Irons for the ground clearance. Maybe I should by the 2.2 mud slingers....lol.

Thanks for looking!!!!

I got a Hilux body, no more lexan for me1;)
I used a flat black on for the bed liner, turned out pretty sick.

Here I am test fitting the bed. You can see the mounts I made, they are just flat Alum plates bolted on top of the SCX10 shock mounts.

I choose blue, and also note the paint on my palm, was wearing gloves, but was too excited to see the final outcome.:ror:

Marysville is just north of Everett but I live in MillCreek now. Got a build thread yet?

TLTCrawlin 06-24-2009 07:25 PM

Here is a shot of my winch/front bumper. I plan on repainting the body this week, thinking about going with a metalic blue(simular to the blue already on it now). Also, yep, still waiting on my lenses, ahhhhhh!!!! waiting a month now.

The truck looks good but would look better with some tube bumpers instead of the usual HPI bumper...."thumbsup"
