| project hilux(for the gf)
so this is my hilux im makin for the gf, im gonna be using scx axles and this chassis i ordered from tcs, its a prototype scale chassis for the duratrax cc. well i went today to the hobby store and found myself a hilux body. my plans are to shorten the bed an inch and then dove tail it in a tad on the rear, i was thinkion about 3/8 narrower on both sides, well heres a few pictures of what i got done so far. and oh yeah, this is my first scale truck and first hard plastic body so dont be too critical this will be the amount im gonna section out and the cuts in the sides are now cut, so now i gotta cut through the bed, and then glue back together. thanks for lookin, will be updating and if you have any suggestions, i would love to hear them, and i was also thjinkin of an exo cage, but not too sure yet, and not too sure of how to do it either |
