very nice truck .. and i think thats a .. kind of easy build with all the things rc4wd has to offer you will need ; wagon scale wheels http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_...roducts_id=449 Dirt grabber tires http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_...roducts_id=583 tamiya blue paint ( blue mica, telefonica blue or semi gloss .. whatever u like of those 3 TS-79 ts-51 ts-50 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRS45&P=7 but i think its the mica blue with that rust primer its gona get just a bit bit darker and it will match the color is my guess. anyway very very nice truck !! ohh and looks like you gonna need a western bumpers http://www.shop.rpphobby.com/product...productId=1257 and you are almost done .. just need a nice interior and thats all i would like to made that nice truck but ... the last hilux i bought it never arrived. oh well anyway nice build ohh and please .. put a clear glass .. dont use the dark glass of hilux http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-Mountaine...3A1%7C294%3A50 |

Screw the 1/10th scale rig, I want the 1:1! That thing would be worth a mint now! Eh, still I think you will do it justice, though. Kevin |

got the front grill in and ,winch mounted up. took it for a trial run, smacked the winch hook on a rock and the damn thing snapped in two! what a piece! i also used a cone spacer from rc4wd as a winch stop. works like a charm. got some trail damage, and added character. swapped in some 1.9 flat irons, and cac 1.9 6spokes. took the 80mm shocks apart and removed the o rings and replaced w some black urethane orings in a plumbers kit,($6-100 orings) added a couple of drops of 35w shock oil.. no more sticky shocks. and i used springs from the losi mrc. silvers up front and black ones in the back still waitn on clear lens.... im putin lights in as well. off to work..
