Default Crappy F350

I got this F350 a couple of weeks ago. I bought it secondhand relatively cheap, so it was okay that it didn't look close to what i what aiming for.
This is my first scale project RC and i'm aiming for a crappy looking poor man's banger. Well, just rich enough to buy an F350, but not rich enough for fixing all the bodywork and paint.

The before photo's:

Now here's what i've done so far:
Create a rack over the bed and roof and primer the cab. And fitted a proper 4-link system.

Create a bouncy antenna:

Paint the bed and tailgate, and also fitted MRC wheels and tires:

Made a ragtop for over the bedrack:

But it couldn't be so crisp and clean white off course. Nothing a soak in some coffee wouldn't fix:

Let it dry out in the sun

And the result so far:

It sits a little too high with these tires, i'll have to fix that. Also, there are some coilovers travelling half the world to here as well.

I'm still doubting if i shouldn't fit the flat irons, cause they are a little larger.

Anyway, any comments are welcome, don't be shy.

Timo

Think it would look better if you painted the hole truck a rust read and drown then sprey over that with primer and selectivly scratch the body to alow the "rust" to show through. also maybe use a heat gun to add some dents to the bead sides and doors. just get the plastic nice and hot then drag the body along a rock

Its your truck man, do it how you like. As to all the comments on replacing the Claws with Flattys. I have had the Flatirons and they suck ass for the terrain I run on. Lots of dirt and mud, hardly any rocks. Yes, they do OK in the dirt, but so do the stock F350 tires. As for their performance in the mud, Flatirons are as usless as a thong as a fat woman, they don't belong there, brown and packed full of sh*t all the time! I run the Claws and they are awsome. Hell I even get better performance out of Rock Stompers then I did from the Flatirons. Unless you drive on the rocks all the time, Flatirons are worthless. Build your truck how you want, its yours and you are the only one you have to impress. It looks good man, keep up the good work, it already looks better then any 1:1 FORD Ive seen, course that isnt hard to do.

Some more pics.

I've fitted the new shocks, but it was just still sitting to high. Sure, i could lower the body (it has a 10mm lift now) but then i'd have to move electrics, and i really am allergic to electrics... Maybe i shoul'd've picked another hobby...
Anyway, it needed to go down. But i did like to keep the longer travel of the long shocks. So i fixed the rear shocks 12mm lower on the axle, and in the front i stretched up the shocktowers 10mm.

Not really clear, these photos, but you get the idea.
Now it 's sits pretty good. At least with the flat irons it does.
