well what started out as a CC-01 has now emerged as a bad little YJ... specs Stock CC-01 YJ Jeep new frame made by J.P.A.... its made from Zinc.. A very dense metal.. TLT axles(shaved) all new internals, RCP axle trusses, RC4WD alum. axle c's upfront, RC4WD 90mm dual rate coilovers, STRC alum. skid HPI Work Meister Wheels w/Losi Basher tires Axial Trans. integy 65t lathe...needs a 50t Traxxas links front and rear, Traxxas waterproof servo- chassis mounted Sidewinder ESC some pics....of the transformation... started as a CC-01 then picked up some new wheels/tires and fabbed up some rock sliders.. then my custom chassis arrived.. made by J.P.A. STRC alum skid mounts perfectly... and as it sits today the necessary flex shot... about 3" still need to fab up some rock sliders and a rear bumper and possibly a stinger... |

Great looking Jeep, just the wheels unsure about? A bit too 'bling' maybe?? I think if they were none-chrome it would look more realistic? Not a critisism just a thought!

well I didn't really like the way the body looked on the frame, so I decided I would take a shot at working with styrene.. This stuff is awesome... I added about 1/2" to the Jeeps side panels to help cover some of the frame and then I got rid of the stock cc-01 rear mounting tabs.. and I thought I would try to make my own cargo rack.. turned out pretty good imo. Added the clear taillights and soon I will make some rocksliders and a rear bumper. The roof rack still needs to be painted and accessories added so more updates to come |

That's one of the best jeeps I've seen yet. I like that chassis and you did a great job trimming the fenders. New rims and tires set it off. |
