Default 2JSC's Humm-Runner

I've been drooling over all the cool KOH and Rock Racer builds and decided to finally get started on a desert runner of my own, the Humm-Runner.

Of course I'm starting with Axial axles and an SCX frame.
Parts List;
RCP Stainless Lockers
STRC Knuckles & C's
Axial Aluminum Lock-outs
Hand Bros CMS Steering
TCS Boomerang 4-Link Rear
CDW 6mm Rear Output
Axial 1.9 Beadlocks
HPI MX-1 Body
3Racing Winch
Pro-Line Lights

I have some 1.9 Stompers here but have some 1.9 Flat-Irons on the way too, not sure which ones I'll use, but I love the look of the Stompers. The body will be getting some special touches from a fellow member. It should come out looking like a really nice pre-runner/ king of hammer's rig.

Teaser shots...

My original plan has been put on hold for this thing. I'm trying to save some money to move down to the Phoenix/Chandler area. I'll build it up more or less like a stock SCX10 for now, but will modify it later.

And there was me thinking Hummers where indie.

It does look kinda cool though, what are you planning for paint? Looks like it needs a set of 1.9 Rock & Dies.

I've got the Flat-Irons and like them a lot, but might get some Rock&Die's to try. I'm thinking of painting it myself, just a basic gray color.

If I was going to do an indie Hummer it would be like this one...

Nope. It's on hold till after I move. I'm trying to collect a few small parts so that it'll be a roller before I pack. I've got ideas, but am just waiting till I can spend more money on it.

Nope. The Humm-Runner is on hold, actually switching plans and doing something different. I've got Jerry from the DMG on board and hope to get started in the next couple of weeks.

I've got some ideas floating around in my head, but I've got a few things outside of RC that I need to take care of first. I'll be resurecting this project sometime.
