Default NazT's SEX10 Blazer

Well I've been working on getting one of my scale rigs together for some camping trips this summer. I've had this SCX10 laying around for 6 months now so I figured I'd get it finished finally. DirtyMike has been working on the body for a bit and I think it's coming along pretty good. Still have tons to do on it, but here is a teaser pic of it so far. More pics coming soon.

Well there has been a bunch of progress sense the last pics were posted. The "Soopa Shevee" still needs a bunch of stuff before it'll be on the trails, but here is some of progress shots.

WOW, nice detail on the K-5 emblem and the seat belts. How about a few off-body pictures.

No body off pics yet (nothing special under there yet) just looks like a stock SCX10 right now. I plan on having chassis mounted steering servo, but that's about it for now. I probably wont make anymore progress till middle of next month, with "USRCCA Worlds" and all.

Love the paint scheme. Where did you get the seat belt parts? I have been seeing them pop up lately...is it from a vendor here?

Yeah the seat belts were made by "Dirty Mike" (that's what we call him at work) He's more of a modeler but the whole body was done by him. The seat belts are made out off some kinda thick crazy vinyl and the buckle parts are made out of some kinda billboard sign material, at least thats what he told me. So far the rig has come along real good.

Thanks for the compliments.

Is that what all of the chrome trim is made out of also? It really adds a touch of realism that most scalers just dont seem to have IMHO.
