Talking My battle wagon

I have always been into Toyota's (20 years)... Built numerous 1:1's but haven't had the time or funds since having my 2nd daughter...Sold my 4runner to fund the wedding(that's how much I love her).

So I have been itching to build me a yota Scaler for a long time.So here is the list of goodies.

RC4WD trail finder chassis with 3 link rear
110 mm rc4wd shocks
integy 8 hole wheels
rc4wd rock crushers (SDI XL's should me mounted soon)
rc4wd Yota axle's
R2 tranny
3r winch
Hitech 645 MG
Axial SC
DX3R
rock lights
Fully water proof.
FULL Interior
LOTS of bed toys
here are some pics of the build and a few testing. Now I have a 35T W/15T pinion

Nice ride, love the doors. How do you like leafsprings? To soft or hard?

Default a few updates

well after last weekends comp,I found a few flaws. Tranny was too low,Rear bumper too square hanging up on obsticles, and my front shocks were limiting my steering......
Now the Tranny is flat, rear bumper shaved and moved shocks to rear side of axle.I had to modify the seats too fit, since the Tranny is 3/4" up into the cab, cant wait to see the improvements!

I noticed you went from black springs to red's, are they ground and modded at all or just bolted on? And how much softer are they?

the red's are bone stock.my rig is on the heavy side and they work great ,lots of suspension movement, definetly feels/looks real.they max the 110 mm shocks. and i have alittle sag.
