Default My Blazer

Hi all

I've been hangin in the background for awhile to get the hang of this, but here goes

I'll leave the boring stories out. Basically I wanted a hard body 80's style Blazer, and that leaves me with the clod body, and thats ok, its my favorite body.

The chassis is bone stock, except I installed bearings, and the wheelbase has been shortened to 9 3\4's inch's.

Here are some pics of my build

this was the starting point more or less

And then, out with the saw

and after much debate with a friend, this is what I removed, I attacked with the saw again.Click the image to open in full size.

They actually lined up pretty good

Then it was time to rejoin the two

Together again

I'll get some more pics up later, See what you think so far and let me know how she's lookin at this point

It's amazing just what a different look you get by shortening the body. Looks more realistic to me. I have a Hilux body with the rear bed shortened and it has totally transformed the look of the truck. Nice work.

Looks real nice, here's a body I made for a guy I know, the only thing I didn't make was the topper, whichis removable. Oh, it also has an interior, opening hood and parma motor inside.

Are those 1.9s? Their big. I just looked at rc4wd which says 4.5in which is almost 2.2 tire size
