| Hi all I've been hangin in the background for awhile to get the hang of this, but here goes I'll leave the boring stories out. Basically I wanted a hard body 80's style Blazer, and that leaves me with the clod body, and thats ok, its my favorite body. The chassis is bone stock, except I installed bearings, and the wheelbase has been shortened to 9 3\4's inch's. Here are some pics of my build this was the starting point more or less ![]() And then, out with the saw ![]() and after much debate with a friend, this is what I removed, I attacked with the saw again. ![]() They actually lined up pretty good ![]() Then it was time to rejoin the two ![]() Together again ![]() I'll get some more pics up later, See what you think so far and let me know how she's lookin at this point |

| It's amazing just what a different look you get by shortening the body. Looks more realistic to me. I have a Hilux body with the rear bed shortened and it has totally transformed the look of the truck. Nice work. |
