Well I'm taking my first step into the scale scene and been doing alot of looking around and decided I realy wanted to build a rig off the "Bruiser" chassis. Picked up a clean chassis off here from "Badd" Thanks man. The chassis I got came with a "Chino Skid" so it can be 4-linked in the rear, but I realy wanted to try leafs all-a-round. If I'm not happy with it then I'll link it. I still need to get alot of parts for this build, so I named it "SLOW" build. Here's a parts list I have chose so far... Bruiser Chassis TLT axles W/cvd's 1.9" Flatirons Yota Cab Tubed bed or Bobbed bed.....haven't made up my mind yet Rock bars Tubed bumpers F/R Couple things I haven't decided on yet cause I'm still new to the scalers is shocks and trany, I want something that will perform good but still have the scaleness. I also want to build this thing to have good wheelspeed but long run times too. So any coments, sugestions, advice, etc. is appriciated. ![]() ![]()

Well I know longer springs allow more flex and the Tundra springs are longer than the F-350 according to RPP's site. I've also been looking into making my own leafs but kinda wana get this thing up and running first to see how heavy it ends up being etc...

| Ok so I rounded up my TLT axles for mock-up pics and the front lines up with the leafs for mountin but the rear leafs are way outboard to the holes, any idea on how I can make this work? I searched but not sure if I'm wording it right but came up with nothing....:-( Here's some pics to show what I'm talking about, oh and ignore the 2.2" Moabs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() See here is the rear offset... | I used the dinky centre links on my bruiser framed chevy. My fab skills aren't the best so thats why I bought theirs also. They work great. How do you plan to mount your steering servo? Off of the frame or on the axle? |

Haven't decided yet, I'll probably try frame mount and if I don't like it then in the axle it goes.

Just curious, because my bruiser chevy has it mounted on the frame and the steering stinks when flexed. The loose suspension takes up the steering. Might have to make a panhard bar.

Have any pics on how yours is mounted? I seen one on here where it was mounted backwards under the front crossmember looked like it lined up well and worked good.
