Default Detailed LR3 Build

Ive had this body for some time, but kept putting it on the back burner. After trying different chassis and not finding one I liked, I contacted Cory at the scale shop and had him custom build a chassis for me. Im still gathering parts for this build. So far ive mounted the chassis. let me know what you guys think. im probably going with a killer transfer case from rc4wd, and a set of their new 1.5 tires and wheels.....

Progress so far

Mounted chassis to the body

Nice, another LR3! Although it seems that I am the only one with an independent suspension on the works for it.

Can't wait to see more!!

No, it was just like this one. TSS chassis and all. Pretty cool.

nice! he sent me the body and i was able to leave Juuuuust enough room for the killer t-case, and keep the chassis SUPER tight on the bottom and especially the back. front had plenty of room. also kept everything out of the interior no hacking or clearancing needed.

looking good. unique body mounts. when ya get all your fabing done id paint the chassis/mounts all black ;)

I got one of those LR3 bodies , theyve got great detail. You going to leave the doors , tailgate and bonnet opening?.
Im putting ta01 axles under my one , more a trail rig, but should be fun tho.

not sure who made the body , as thats all i got was the body itself.

the one shown above is by Rastar.
The other one available is by New Bright but that one does not have an interior, has black plastic for windows and comes as an off roader already (with snorkel, front bumper guard, roof rack, etc.).
